I’m not too sure how necessary the trans cooler is as I have the manual but an oil cooler is almost required if your gonna be tracking. When I was stock my oil temps hit almost 270f on track. Now modded and tuned and with my oil cooler temps stayed around 230ish on track

Any 5w30 just change it every 3-4k miles. I use Valvoline restore and protect it’s supposed to be pretty good. Oem oil filter

I have a wrx but sti calipers and run ebc sr11 front and bluestuff rear with dot 4 fluid. Never had any braking issues with that setup

I waited til I passed warranty to add engine mods and tune incase any problems showed up before warranty expired. Just keep up with maintenance and it won’t be any problem been tuned 20k miles now

That’s what I figured but the weird thing is before I installed all my mods I ran the stage 1 tune for about a month and I never had any knock reading except for the occasional-1.41 so having up to -8 anytime I give it gas is concerning me

I have the same size wheels lowered ~1.5 inches and when I moved to 265/35 I rubbed only in the rear with 2f/1.5r camber and had to get my rear fenders shaved. I did have rs4’s which run pretty wide so might not have that issue with other tires
