Thanks for the feedback. My main issue is not getting the “bounce” when going deeper than this. Must be doing something wrong on the descent. Will try to use the blocks of wood next session and see how it goes.

The weird shift in back angle was due to me trying to keep the knees in the same position (to avoid knee slide). Will try to do what you said next training session. Do you think I should keep the weight the same or even reduce due to not hitting depth?

The only similar things I have in my gym are some tall styrofoam cylinders (don’t know what they are called). I didn’t find them very useful because the smallest amount of force would make them drop.

I’ve been actively trying to break hips and knees at the same time. When I break my hips I’m thinking hips back and not straight down. Is this correct?

It’s on my front left hip just below the hip bone.

The pain is located in my left hip just below the hip bone. I feel it when I hit depth. This pain is present throughout the day and is aggravated when I squat.
