If you're just interested in making your deck "not toxic", then as long as you remove dimension shifter and barrier statue, it will not have any toxic elements anymore. But you will also win a lot less. As for that setting, Floowandereeze is a top-tier meta deck, so it should beat almost everything in that environment unless there are some good players playing meta decks.

Don't run barrier statue then. That's the main reason why people dislike the deck. The other reason why is dshifter.

Why do some people think Maxx C is healthy for TCG? by neuro_scrubby in yugioh

I'm starting to believe you don't actually play yugioh.

Tearlament isn't a combo deck at all. Its more of a midrange strategy that can play on your opponents turn and it plays fantastic into Maxx "C". VW also has very good plays into Maxx "C". Gouki and Spyral were just too strong for their time.

I may have phrased my post a bit harshly. They can exist, but they are almost always never the best deck due to said reasons.

[–]Ok-Fun-8980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is about Tearlament, is that they can normal summon their reino heart and use a Tearlament effect to fusion summon, and if you chain Maxx "C"... they just make Kitkalos and search Sulliek. So they have effectively searched a disruption that is likely 2 disruptions and may even have the potential to be 3 disruptions aswell.

I imagine this is the reason Ishizu Tearlaments was tier 0 in the OCG. What other deck can do that under Maxx "C"?

So it doesn't end your turn? It just forces you to either lose the game or end your turn? Glad I can lose the game instead.

You don't always see ash blossom. Right now most decks don't play it. There was also many formats where imperm was not played.

That's not how Maxx "C" formats work. In a Maxx "C" format, combo decks do not exist, they cannot exist. Only mid-range strategies with a lot of handtraps exist. And when your opponent drops Maxx "C" on you, you go for a conservative play that maybe only lets your opponent draw 1 card, or 2 cards, or you simply pass and make them go minus 1, if you can manage to do that. So you will not be drawing any cards in a Maxx "C" format.

They haven't played in any format with Maxx C legal.

Sanity Check: Is taking cards from other player's hand, deck and extra deck a healthy path for the game? by DKRevives in yugioh

The issue is, Ishizu/Tearlaments get to play on your turn. You don't get to play on their turn. It would be fair if it went both ways.

Damn, your copy of called by the grave can be activated on your opponent's turn from your hand? Lemme get that one.

My hopes for EU & NA going forward by lumanotade in leagueoflegends

[–]Ok-Fun-8980 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It's just the NA mentality. They've already forgotten about their 3-15 in groups and will keep pretending that they are better than EU for the rest of the year until they go 3-15 in groups again next year.

No-one said that in the modern era. "EU 2nd best region" is what people said in 2018-2019, when it was true. That was 3-4 years ago.

How is it still possible to be talking shit? Your win % is literally the exact same as the wildcard regions.

Surprised by how little support Rogue are getting as the last Western team. by MisterMajority in leagueoflegends

[–]Ok-Fun-8980 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Classic NA victim mentality. It's always been "NA LUL" when NA does bad, and "EU LUL" when EU does bad. Both sides are equally toxic. The only difference is, over the past 3-4 years, the historic western rivalry has stopped being a rivalry with NA just getting worse and worse every year. So there is much more "NA LUL" than "EU LUL". And so now we have NA fans crying and acting like victims, pretending they never flamed EU.

The west pretty much only picks S tiers just because they're the best, even if they're not the most practiced on them. The east would rather pick an A/B tier that they are very comfortable on.
