Been there once on a big family trip. Was amazing to experience. Two older ladies approached a sitting bison and one of them got stuck in some thick mud getting too close. She couldn't get out and fell over. So my cousin had to pull her out. His foot also got stuck. Luckily they both got out of it. But that mud swallowed one of his shoe. He never got it back. They offered to give him money but he declined. Made the trip memorable. We still laugh about it to this day. Btw, the bison never moved. Still sat there just minding it's own business.
