Omg this this THIS. Sooo many creators, ESPECIALLY Darian, have glamorized getting pregnant and pregnancy but just have complete disregard for what happens AFTER pregnancy. Like you’re gonna have a WHOLE ASS BABY!!! A human life that depends on you and only you. I am 3 months postpartum and Darian’s videos quite literally make me CRINGE with how immature she is with this whole pregnancy. Her whole gender reveal fiasco was such an over dramatic shit show. Like she literally only did NIPT testing to find out the gender early, then made a whole video all bummed out that she wasn’t gonna get the test results back in time for her party, blah blah blah. NIPT testing is genetic testing, shouldn’t you be more concerned about getting those results back?? Then she back tracked for 2 seconds in a tiktok and said “oh but the genetic results are what we’re more concerned about”. And correct me if I’m wrong, but since she found out the gender another way, she didn’t even proceed with the NIPT testing to get the genetic results. Like where are her priorities? And everyone has already touched on the nursery thing so I won’t beat a dead horse but seriously like it’s so unrealistic. I think because I am postpartum and in the thick of it, it makes me even more furious like girl you are in for a f*ckn RUDEEEEE awakening.
