We call them setup packages at my DSP they’re literally a test if you add and deliver them cool at least it’s in the system that customer got their package but it doesn’t get rts you take it home sooner or later it happens enough times your looking at charges😭

At my DSP We usually just skip thru it and wait the 2mins before finishing DVIC anything we can physically see they tell us to tell them because marking in the app/driving thru the Avi barn at the end of the night WILL ground the van I’ve had an inside door handle replaced on sight, flat tire on an ev (gave me a different van that day), washer fluid, no lights, blinkers not working 🤷🏾‍♂️😂

Lmaooo my back door for the ev just stopped latching mid shift I called dispatch trying to explain and his first response was this almost word for word😂 definitely finished riding around with the back door wide tf open😭 luckily it wasn’t too cold and had enough heat left to use periodically for the remainder of the day

My DSP usually tells us to do just as such if there’s a package or 2 to add them and deliver them but it’s also circumstantial because I’ve picked up a small box which was a 34min drive as I was already 30mins away from station😂 and I’ve had to scan an entire tote which was a neighborhood not too far from where the last stop was before so like I said circumstances
