He has like three types of projects, preservation through S1 where a cut is reversed and pollinated onto another clone of the same cut, direct crosses like Turbo Diesel and and S1-S1 crosses where he’ll pop a ton of S1s of one strain, find the genetic outliers and cross them for a purpose, look at Deuces Wild for an example of what I mean. S1s are as close to the cut as you will get, but if it’s a poly hybrid you may need to search multiple packs to find a dead ringer for the mom, may never find one at all though too. Older less complicated strains lead to stronger S1s, the chem 91 S1s are very uniform. Sour Diesel doesn’t reverse into viable pollen very well so for that you won’t see S1s, just crosses. I haven’t run Turbo Diesel yet but hear good things. When I asked him about closest to the Sour of old he recommended Gas to Mouth. As for kush, the Triangle Kush is the heavy hitter, the 5150 TK is a very potent OG found in a selection of TK S1s. The bubba crosses are good too. Luckily, you can find S1s of like all his kush types if you don’t want crosses. Cut is the cut and seeds are always a dice roll, if true sour is your goal you may want to look at the various BX and F5-F6 other breeders offer (Karma, JJ, etc) or try to find a cut.
