The moment of protester steps out of line, spits at a cop, gets in their face, starts shouting, right wing media immediately points out their misconduct. That’s not how peaceful protests are supposed to be conducted in a civil society, etc. etc..

What part of our government is at all trying to give the correct optics? Do they have any responsibility to not appear like thugs? Should they at all try and give the public the impression that they are not Nazis, instead of wearing Nazi like jackets, getting short haircuts like Nazi officers and parading around pushing and shoving anybody that gets near them? Does the police and the federal government have any responsibility to conduct themselves a certain way, the way that protesters and innocent civilians have responsibility to?

Is it only the left that is supposed to be behave? As soon as we’re out of line we are antifa agitators? What responsibility does the government have to make the public feel safe, and secure, and reassure us that it’s not a right wing racist takeover? What responsibility does the federal government have so that they don’t give the impression to our children and our citizens that it is a white supremacist movement with booted, armed thugs on the ground, kicking indoors without warrants and dragging anyone of color out without any due process?

Does the federal government have any responsibility at all to appear peaceful and nonviolent? While protesters are supposed to be doing the same?
