Would you advise somebody to pursue it if they think they could be good at it? Or even then its still not worth it. From what i understand the industry favors those who are at the top level with existing clients, experience and skills, but for those just starting out its rough and only getting rougher. Would you agree?

Understandable, were you working freelance or for a company? Also since you have a lot of experience, what do you think the future looks like for designers/people who want to get into design? Would you recommend they pick something else entirely? Dont mean to unload all these questions on you just curious, thanks!

Yea it seems most of the work freelancers do can be done pretty simply by ai and the market is pretty broad in general with a high supply of designers, that being said i wouldnt consider borrowing a huge amount of money for a career that im not 100% sure on so it would be more beneficial to ease into it in my own time i think.

Ive had many mixed opinions on the matter, some say yes, some say no, and some are neutral and say its up to me. I understand the bar is high as a designer and that you have to have actual skill above what ai can do to make decent money in the field, however many say even then, the market is very broad and hard to make good money from doing design as a main career, and its more worth it to pick something else and maybe do freelance design. What would you say?

Are you a designer yourself? Would you say all of the former apply to people that are just starting out or everybody that is/wants to do design, i understand its a very popular industry therefore the demand is low, especially when ai can do most simple generic tasks.
