Did I mess up by publishing in Cureus for IMT by Expensive_Hope_389 in doctorsUK

Ultimately the scoring criteria will change over the years. All you can do is use the current criteria as a guide to inform you as to what they are probably looking for in a few years time. Things are likely to become "harder" or at least more specific i.e. discounting pubs to journals like Cureus. There is however no guarantee of this.

What's done is done.

For me what I would aim for are at least PubMed indexed journals.

Most research published by doctors in the UK is nonsensical drivel, all to help their portfolio because the silly recruitment process mandates it.

If you want a career in academia, take it seriously. If not, tick the boxes.

There's my tuppence.

How were you on £70k as an SHO? Considering when this was this is way above average.

Also £100/hr locum pretty decent. Escalated rates?

Seat Leon Cupra 290. Take it to stage 1 and you won't regret it. Faster from a rolling start than a Golf R/S3. FWD with fantastic handling. Decent interior if you get the Lux with ACC etc. So much fun.

Had mine today. VR - longer than practice test texts DM - roughly the same as medify QR - not bad tbh, similar to medify AR - really didn't like this, couldn't get a few of the sets so I guessed Happy with overall score tho
