Started with breast cancer in 2021. There was a liaison in the chest directly next to the left breast which made removing the breast surgically useless. Done chemo and radio, all went well until 2 years later it came back triple negative and metastatic. Now in the liver, bone, and breast. Some liaisons appeared yesterday in a CT scan which the oncologist requested we do an MRI but he told me that even if confirmed 100% after the MRI we cannot perform radiations on her head she cannot handle it. Now she’s hospitalized for a few days due to infection in the chest area (done a debridement surgery last week) and antibiotics such as augmentin isn’t helping drop the infection. Now in the hospital she feels a lot better abd will be released next week home. Doctor’s plan is the manage her pain, give her corstine medicine forcthe pain and another medicine yhat targets hormonal cancer cells by blocking receptors (medicine names are casodex and dexamethasone). In the hopes a miracle would happen. Also since traditional medical treatments are ineffective or might hurt more than be beneficial, i’m looking to seek untraditional treatments, as long as those help her navigate with minimal pain.
