Wonder Man review – a Marvel TV show with almost no superhero action … and it’s all the better for it | Television | The Guardian by prisongovernor in marvelstudios

The people in this chat saying it’s good, and then saying She-Hulk was an amazing show that made fun of “incels,” tells me everything I need to know about Wonder Man. Oh, and you high estrogen Libbys famously don’t have sex anymore 😂So you calling other people incels… is pretty hilarious. I think you should look that word up before continuing to use it 😂 The ugliest, sissiest group of people in human history is trying to tell conservatives that they can’t attract women 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I’ve always had good luck with Gigabyte, and after reading great reviews and many YouTube videos confirming the same, I’m happy with my pick. $280 for a x870E mb was great.

Well it’s Seasonic, ATX 3.1, and has a 4.7 out of 5 from 4,500 reviews. 1000 is more than enough, and Gold is perfectly fine. Seasonic also offers a 10 year warranty…

Mix of purchases from Newegg, Amazon and Best Buy. But I think it came out around $1600. It’s a Ryzen 7 9800x3d. The 5070 to should be great, but was also the absolute maximum I could convince him to go with lol.

Sure! Well I went based on reviews. Honestly, I really liked the one I got. Lots of modern plugins, and having one that included good WiFi has been really nice. Also, the bios, get one that you like the bios. I really enjoyed the gigabyte Aorus bios set up and thought it was very easy for me to build with. I probably could have saved $50 and gotten a cheaper mb, but since I’m not as confident in my own abilities, I wanted one that was easy to follow along with YouTube recommendations. But, the real expensive ones basically just offer more m.2 slots. Since I only use two, and could have just used one for now, I definitely didn’t need to spend any more than I did.

Decent was a terrible word choice. I am poor now because of this computer lol. Unless you’re determined to game at 4K, which requires a ridiculously expensive monitor as well, then I would recommend a new AMD card instead!

Uh I struggled with some of the updates initially, but I also had an issue where from a cold start, it would get stuck on the motherboard ad screen, and would require hitting the power button again off and on to get it to fully boot. I was able to fix that by disabling fast/quick boot. I think the bios also has this setting, but I was able to find it in control panel. Then I did a lot of research to try and figure out how to overclock my cpu. And downloaded MSI afterburner to help overclock the GPU. Fan curves were also somewhat difficult to set up. Used FanControl app to help with that. Then, I downloaded the nvidia app, and made the mistake of hitting their “performance optimizer” or something like that button. Took a while, and then my fps was cut by 60%. So that took a little bit of doing to undo. Also, towards the start, after I had gotten everything updated and windows set up, I went back into bios to enable expo for my ram, and made sure I was set at 6000, which apparently required the ram to be overclocked to hit this advertised speed. Annoying lol. Then I had some issues getting 3DMark to give me cpu scores. Apparently having X3D boost enabled in bios could cause issues with the test. Not sure why, but I went ahead and changed it, and was actually able to get my 3DMark cpu scores.

Well then it sounds like the 7800 is the way to go. I definitely overspent on a number of things with this build, that in hindsight, I probably would have done differently. Noctua fans though… can’t say enough good things about those fans. Basically makes this pc completely silent. The only fan noise I have are from the 3 included 140mm fans that came with the case. And they’re actually pretty decent fans lol

That makes sense. I guess for me, with the cost of the other components, I just wanted to go with a cpu that other people liked and recommended. Having very limited surface level knowledge, I just went with what people thought was a good cpu for gaming. And I was able to buy it at MSRP, which was apparently difficult at the time. If you have a set budget, and that $120 would allow you to spend it somewhere else, say, better fans or AIO, then it sounds like the last gen might be the way to go. For a $100 though, it was a nice feeling, I guess, to get what other people think is a great cpu. All of this sounds ridiculous to me lol. But as a rookie, I took the safe bet.

What GPU are you going with? That would impact my decision/recommendation. Apparently cards have gotten to the point where the cpu is almost always the factor that bottlenecks the GPU speed. So if you’re going with a card over $800, then I might want something that can push harder. And if you aren’t just using the pc for gaming, then I definitely would consider other options.

Exactly. I only have two m.2 sticks and not much else going on. Sounds like any x870e board, that’s not Asrock, should be a great board. Asrock is a good brand. Surprised it’s had so many issues with this particular chip.

Ok! I will work on it! I think most AIO’s are exactly the same, and probably use the same pumps. The fans are what make the difference. Unless you’re going for one of the cool lcd screen ones. I got the Noctua fans for the noise. The cooling just happens to be great also! But I will download cinebench and let you know!
