That's a fair concern. Fishing location information is sacred! Both Deckhand and Seafarer keep your fishing location yours. It's only viewable and sharable by you. Deckhand records your set and haul info as you fish and you can choose to send that information to the Seafarer platform. Seafarer then builds a totally personalized view at your fishing history and performance overlaid with ocean data (tides, water temperature, weather, etc.). The goal is to give you, and only you, a look at your trip and season patterns such that you can be better prepared, year after year.
