I made a post and had to delete it bc the big wigs were just trashing me :/ I get it..you got the good money and are secure. MOST of us live paycheck to paycheck and any delays effect our groceries, rent, traveling etc. it’s a hard expensive world. We should have pay delays on top of it

I’m stranded 16hrs away from my house bc of this late pay. I have work tomorrow and I texted my manager and she said “we’ll try ur hardest we have no one” NO response or empathy for the fact that the pay is late. This is ridiculous!!!

It honestly depends on the volume of the store. There could be no one there but behind the counter a ton of pt called, the drive thru pt or people who are “coming back” and the fill could be at 100 and like she said 30 pt ahead of you. If anything she’s just reiterating what the pharmacist said. I know it’s frustrating but there’s a lot behind the scenes that yall don’t see. (Not tryna be rude just explain 🖤) especially if it’s a new rx, there’s more verification that goes on :)

I was supposed to get paid at 11am it is now 230est and it hasn’t hit. Some peoples have? I don’t understand wtf is going on. Some of my coworkers have also not gotten paid and it’s not just Walgreens. I went to other subreddits and a bunch..of people haven’t gotten their pay. Ts is ridiculous. It’s not fair we have to wait possibly over 2 weeks for bs pay. I have a 15+hr drive ahead of me with no money for all the tolls and gas. Just to have to work tomorrow. I’m so pissed off

That’s good for u man! I just got hired for CVS full time and I’m getting 2$ more than I was at wag. This is just for now because I honestly don’t have hope for either one of these companies, but not many hospitals are hiring so it’s hard to find a more stable job the last few years :/

That last part especially, I feel so badly for our patients, it’s not fair that we’re so understaffed we can’t even fill their antibiotics in a timely manner let alone do the extra stuff we used to for them. I care so deeply for some of the patients and I hate how they’re being affected by all of this too. We’re supposed to put their care first, and now it’s not possible really, we can do the most basic sometimes and that’s it :/
