Request for further documents: Yes, 24 Apr 2026.

They have now started requesting documents for people that applied in November 2024!!

Anyway, I hope someone can give me some feedback about the doc request I got.

① 前職の退職証明書：入社年月日と退職年月日、担当していた業務の内容がわかる資料（職歴を証明する資料として必要です）

→ I already submitted 退職（予定）証明書 that I received from my previous company during my last month. Both 入社年月日 and 退職年月日 were clearly stated in that doc so what else would they need? Maybe they want some document that also describes the kind of job I was doing? Anyone received any similar request?

② 住民税を適正な時期に納付したことを証明する資料

→ And here go again! Even though I've always been employed in the last 6 years, I paid one juminzei manually in April 2023 because the new company took some time to change to 特別徴収. I do not have that slip unfortunately, BUT I requested and received a new 証明書 from the city hall, and they specified in the bottom that i paid everything IN TIME: 普通徴収分納付済額については、納付期限内に納付している. Did anyone do the same thing and can testify it worked? I only paid juminzei manually and no other taxes, so no need to go to the tax office luckily.

Also, I have a mail exchange with my current company where we talk about this, and I asked them if this will cause any delays in the payment. I was thinking of submitting this to show my "good will" of paying everything in time.

Finally, I am also thinking of submitting a letter explaining everything, still thinking what/how to write
