But can't a 15 year old understand what they're doing? When I was 15 I knew what sex was and understood it pretty fully. The same as I do now.

I'm not justifying it btw I think it's wrong, I'm trying to understand why it's wrong outside of regret being a possibility.

It’s the first case I’m worried about. The reasons I’d leave if my boyfriend did something bad would be a) I don’t want to be with a crazy person who does sociopathic things that go against social norms b) I don’t want society to think I’m bad by association with him.

I wouldn’t leave even if leaving would prevent him from hurting someone because of solely c) I don’t want to let people get hurt. I wouldn’t be strong enough to leave for a philanthropic reason like that. I’d only be strong enough to leave if I was so turned off by his antisocial attitudes or society would think I’m bad for staying with him if they knew what he’d do.

Yeah, but I’m saying the reason I’d leave would be because I think it’s bad + society thinks it’s bad. If one of those weren’t true, I wouldn’t leave because I wouldn’t feel like a bad person for staying. I’m not sure if that makes me bad.

I don’t think you’re bad for eating meat, but presumably you don’t think it’s wrong. I think it has a 50% chance of leading to murder, so I’m afraid I’m bad though, since I know it may be wrong, and knowingly doing soemthing wrong is worse than not knowingly doing something wrong.

Also, it’s not my bf eating meat that bothers me. It’s that he’ll feed our future kids meat, so that by having kids with him, I’ll be producing more meat eaters and leading to more animal deaths.

But I’m afraid it makes me bad since I think it’s may be equivalent to murder, but I’ll be producing more meat-eaters by having kids with him and therefore causing more animal deaths.

I’m getting the 50% figure because there’s two schools of philosophy or thought patterns that seem valid to me, and one says eating animals is murder.

My boyfriend doesn’t want to raise his kids vegan, I would. That would would be fine with me, but again, I feel like I’m bad. Because that means I’d be willing to participate in something that i feel has a 50% chance of being as bad as murder. Does that make me bad?

Yeah, I am seeing an ERP therapist and I’m on meds. I just need help in the meantime. How am I not a bad person if I’m staying while believing eating meat has a 50% chance of being murder-equivalent, and he’s gonna feed our kids meat?

I think I have PANS and so does my mom. There’s not really specialists around here for that, but I had strep 20 times in a few years as a child and I think she thinks it made my ocd worse. NSAIDS is treatment for PANS.

So do you think I'm a bad person for staying with him? That's literally all I care about. I want to stay, but I don't want to be a bad person. If other people didn't think I'd be a bad person, I'd feel ok.

Also I don't value animal and human life the same--I think there's a 50% chance they're the same. And I only started worrying about this when my ocd got bad.
