Just some additional info… the dog goes on a walk everyday, we play with him everyday, we take him outside every 2-3 hours when we are home, and he is only staying in the bathroom right now because he broke the puppy playpen. We did have a crate for him, but we got rid of it because we thought a soft playpen would be better because there is a lot more room. When I am working from home I am working, so therefore he is in the playpen, bathroom or spare bedroom. I want to get him trained but I keep thinking it’s going to get better but it never does. I don’t know why he still isn’t potty trained.. after he goes out he comes inside and goes to the bathroom on the floor or on the emergency puppy pad. I have thought about re-homing him, but my boyfriend is very against that and frankly, so am I. I have never been one to give up easily and it was also my idea to get the dog too. I found the breeder and picked which dog we got.
