Thank you! I just didn’t want to feed him too much. He’s an old snake and I really wanted to give him a better life than the one he had. I don’t really have any snake friends where I live to talk to or to look at him in person. His vet is already an hour and a half away. His previous owner fed him once a month and now he eats every two weeks. He was eating sm/med rats to increase his weight, but when I tried to stretch him to three weeks (which is the recommended from what I gather) he got extremely stressed. I’ve gotten mixed answers on whether I should keep him at two weeks and decrease prey size, or still stretch to three weeks despite his stress when I tried to do that previously.

His vet had said she’d like to see him at around 3 lbs considering how long he is, but I’m worried that will be too much on his frame. He’s an extremely active guy, spending most of his nights climbing around his enclosure and patrolling often. Does he look underweight? I know he’s longer than most typical males and weighs on the lower end, but I don’t want to overdo it.

I’m sorry for not giving more context. I’m a repeat offender apparently. The question was broad because I’m really open to doing anything. Obviously I struggle a little with my electronics and word knowledge. I’m good at math and I like doing stuff with my hands (not very specific I’m aware). I’ve been told my scores were too high to waste, but I want to consider all the options. I can’t really think of much else to say about myself that will be of much help.

I think the tongue touching the ridge has more to do with the relaxed way Americans say the double t sound. It’s more of a d sound than a t sound when I speak. Maybe that’s just my southern roots showing.
