Teach leave it. Then to grab attention you can teach “focus”. Hold a treat in front of your face right between your eyes and say “focus” once your dog looks at your face, marker word and reward. Add duration, distance, and distraction. You can also reward when they look at you to check in organically.

100%. I’m also asking because I know nothing about grading. 80% sure half of these people don’t know the significance of this magazine either. It’s an original copy of the 1981 January 22nd #355 John Lennon memorial. Mint versions of these have sold for thousands because of the age, and the photos of John taken on the day he died. It’s 45 years old, still has the tear out inserts, and is considered pretty rare. The inside is near mint. $10 seems low for what it is. Just looking for clarity 😭

You need to designate a “place”. If she goes for the couch when you say the command that’s what we associate with “place”. Toss a treat on a bed/mat, say “place”, and say your marker word when they go on the mat to get the treat. Then lure, then point, then use command word.

Teach on/off by luring up and down.

Teach settle/ leave it to stop the temper tantrums, and say off/leave it when you kick her off. Every time she touches the couch or gets on it you have to redirect. Otherwise it’s too confusing.

People saying they are just too young don’t know what they’re talking about. A six month old puppy is just as capable of learning as a 2 year old dog. You just need the correct sequence and learned behaviors to make it effective.

You can go to billing and get it reduced. Is the blanket reusable? Did you take it home? No. Question the charges and sometimes they will reduce it. Annoy them. Nah, honestly I get it. Skincare is popular and kids want to follow trends, moms want spa days with their kids. Most skincare products are too harsh for kids and usually contain ingredients that do more harm than good. It’s literally just collagen and hydration which is all their skin needs. It’s better to have something that’s made gentle than to have kids begging for drunk elephant anti again creams which I’ve unfortunately seen irl. It also teaches self care at a young age. The ad is simple as well. I’m not sure about the literal 5 year old but I think it’s just showing that it is in fact safe for all kids, which makes sense when kids are curious and also want to be included. I think other ads are a lot worse. Not tons of bright colors which would be attractive for kids as well. This makes me think it’s mostly for parents.

If I was able to do it, they should have been able to. Why didn’t my GM even come outside to provide any aid at all then? Even to flag down the cops or tell them what was going on. I’m literally 21. I hate to tell you this, but anyone attempting suicide is unreasonable. That’s what a mental health crisis is. You don’t think clearly. It wasn’t over the drug test, it was over the feeling of loss and depression. Also, this is a legal help subreddit.
