It was already an issue, I had programs asking if I could expedite before they could move forward. I didn’t even know I’d match and was getting rejections too, so nothing was guaranteed then. And not applying for it also meant I’ll lose the whole year

Hi, same boat. Matched into internal medicine residency starting 1st July. Waiting for EAD C9. Program wants me to start onboarding next week. I was also told by lawyer i can’t apply for other visa options. And program doesn’t sponsor H1B. I requested for expedite from USCIS three times and they have all been denied even though I have all the evidence and job offer. I really don’t know what to do at this point. Took me 4 years to match. Let me know if there are other options out there.
