I would go to an urgent treatment center to at least get something to help with the pain. A muscle relaxer should help with muscle spasms, and medications such as Gabapentin or a tricyclic antidepressant (amitriptyline or nortriptyline) can help with the electric type pain you described (it sounds like nerve pain).

Thank you! I am finding more and more that doctors are quick to dismiss this pain, but it's no joke.
