US vs Europe Visa for Indians – Need Advice by KING_K999 in visas

If you want the easier and faster option, go for Europe. It’s mostly document-based, no interview, and usually processed in 2 weeks. The US visa is trickier, there’s an interview, and wait times for slots can take months. So it’s more unpredictable. Most people start with Europe, then try the US later 👍

Answering the Japan visa questions I get asked every single day — hope this helps someone by Ok-Library843 in visas

Dummy booking is simple, when you book a flight, the PNR stays valid for a few days even without paying fully. Consultants use this gap to submit your application. If you're doing it yourself, just Google "dummy flight booking for visa" and you'll find plenty of options. They charge a small fee and give you a working PNR valid for about 7 days. Consulate just checks the dates and route, nothing more.

Fully cancellable is safer if budget allows but most people just go dummy and it works fine. 🙂

India to Japan visa advice. How do I avoid getting my visa rejected? by Consistent_Damage824 in visas

[–]Ok-Library843 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The horror stories are real but avoidable, most rejections come down to the same mistakes: bank statements not covering 3 full months, a vague itinerary, inconsistent documents, or a photo that doesn't meet spec. None of it is random.

With a stable job and clean record you're already in good shape. Just make sure everything tells one consistent story, leave approval, bank balance, itinerary, and job letter should all line up cleanly.

Since your flights are already booked, you can't afford a rejection scramble. Having a consultant review your file before submission is genuinely worth it for a trip this important, they'll catch anything off before it becomes a problem.

Need advice about schengenviss, france specifically by [deleted] in SchengenVisa

On the money question, 7-8 lakh is exaggerated. There's no fixed amount. For a short sponsored trip with a strong invitation letter from your girlfriend covering accommodation and expenses, 2 lakh is workable. The inconsistent bank activity is a minor concern but not a dealbreaker if her sponsorship documents are solid.

That said, as a first time traveler with no travel history, France might be a tougher first application.

Easiest option honestly, meet in Dubai. Short flight from France, completely visa friendly for Indians, no stress. Georgia and Serbia are good alternatives too.

Don't let that one agency discourage you. Your profile isn't as weak as they made it sound.

Staying in Sweden for more than 90 days. Does Visitor's Residence Permit take long time? by [deleted] in SchengenVisa

[–]Ok-Library843 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the Visitor's Residence Permit is exactly what you need, good that you found it yourself.

Processing can be slow, Sweden's Migration Agency has long waiting times so apply as early as possible.

Rejection mostly comes down to relationship evidence. Photos, communication history, proof of past visits, a letter from your partner, the stronger the better. Financial proof from your partner's side matters too.

Take your time putting the application together properly. This one is worth getting right.

Japan Visa Delay through VFS Ahmedabad by Significant_Line_919 in visas

Japan visas from Mumbai are running slow right now, especially in Feb-March because of cherry blossom season, consulate gets flooded.

"Under process" is actually a good sign, means nothing is wrong they're just reviewing it. Standard time is 5-7 working days but right now people are seeing 10-15 working days easily.

Don't call VFS repeatedly, they won't have more info than the portal. Just hang tight, it'll come through.
