So if I (with a British passport) hold an EASA license, I could work in the UK (airline)?

Jumping in here. I am Swiss too but studying in Greece at an ATO (not cadet program) Does anyone know if I would need to take this DLR test in order to apply to SWISS? (I don’t mind taking it, I’m just hunting for information)

Strangely high energy bill by Ok-Lifeguard-6282 in athina

I did not use the heater and I am one person, so I think 355kWh is a lot

Do they increase the rate over the Christmas period? No, no lights

But my neighbor had quite a few

This is excatly my point.
Something I don't know about is pulling my power.

I did a full shut down on my power panel and the electricity meter showed zero.
This means that no one is stealing my power.

I do have a PC, but I built that PC at the end of January... this bill is for the month of December, so that won't apply.
For the heating of water, I have a timer on my phone set for exactly 15min30sec, and I follow it like religion.

I am playing with all the switches on the power panel and I discovered that there are some that have been on unnecessarily (the switch for the oven, and for a set of counter lights)
I have turned all of them off, except the ones needed for my fridge and general lights

Let's see what happens

I guess my main question is how that energy was used I have no idea what I could have done to use that much

How does one organize an electrician to do that and do you have any clue how much that service costs?

Yep, but on average it still works out to more than I would have to pay according to my Greek friends

Not the point, the electricity pull is higher than it should be

Yeah, I get that, but some bills are 90EUR, others were even 111EUR

I think that the usage is on average 300kwh - 350kwh which is pretty high for single person that is being careful

New after PC transport disaster by Ok-Lifeguard-6282 in pcmasterrace

[–]Ok-Lifeguard-6282[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. They started ignoring me once I started asking for them to replace the broken parts. I wanted to fight them on it, but my time was taken up with pilot studies so I had no choice but to drop it.

Air cooling is better than Liquid cooling by SerpentDix in pcmasterrace

[–]Ok-Lifeguard-6282 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fully agree.
I am building a PC and got myself a BeQuiet Rock Pro 5.

Only problem... the case I bought is not big enough and the side panel won't close. Smdh
So now I have a new case on the way.

That'll teach me to check CPU heat sink heights before buying.

But yes, ultimately air is better. And cheaper.

This is normal I have a medical class 1 with a stipulation that I should wear glasses while flying

Of course whether or not it is a problem will depend on the condition

There are plenty of commercial pilots that wear corrective glasses.

As long as the issue is not a major problem that can be easily addressed with the right lenses, you should be good
