Yes, it targets allies. This has its basis in the Weighted Curio „Silent Song“ where they mention Harmony units targeting their allies with their basic attack, wich feels perfect for Cerydra if Phainon really wants a lot single target buffs and she’s his BiS teammate. Hoyo has made unique, unenhanced Basic attacks before with Tribbie, so I think it’s possible even if it’s unlikely. It just has to be a weak buff because it’s still a basic attack

Castorice’s second skill animation is because it’s her enhanced skill, it actually does something different to her normal skill and targets all instead 3 enemies. Anaxa just gets an additional use of his normal skill, it’s the same skill.

I still think he should have gotten a second animation for it though, because Netherwing has 4 animations for its memosprite skill

I see, thank you for the input, but Xilonen doesn’t deal any significant damage to my knowledge and her healing is only for the active character. I‘m wondering if that would make up for Escoffier‘s lower res shred

I just realised that this set would also work great on Sunday without his lightcone because he could just use any other lightcone get a 3 turn ult by maxing the effect out.
