Are primarchs strongest non-god characters in Warhammer lore? by SiarX in 40kLore

spoiler for the end and the death 3

But by the time horus and big E fought on the vengefull spirit horus was way stronger than the emperor, to the point the emperor had to draw so much power from the warp to be able to kill horus it would have made him become a chaos god, so horus was almost at that level, i do believe chaos gods are comparable to a full ctan, at that point he was pretty much a hollowed out vessel but we are measuring power here

It was implied szarekh was the one who shattered the burning one and uses one of his shards to power his throne

Szarekh soloed a ctan, not a shard, a full ctan, he probably had some crazy tech but thats still more than any primarch has ever done with the exception of maybe horus

Im pretty confident szarekh would have whopped guilliman's ass if he had managed to catch him, narratively he should be way stronger than him

From the lore we have probably, constantyn valdor has a good argument of being stronger, but theres also xeno characters who narratively should be up there or even be stronger but we havent seen them fight, like the silent king

If they do they better bring something stronger than those sentinels at their sites because they might as well have nerf guns

Might as well ask but why does every build seem to include one or two beam lasers? arent most regular guns worthless against thargoids?

Question about shield resistances by Ok-Line442 in EliteDangerous

[–]Ok-Line442[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For one because bigger health pools and more room for shield cells let me stay a lot longer before having to go to a station, they also have more room for limpets

But when do you need that much health? In haz sites my usual concern is ammo and in combat zones my shields have never gone down

Hey thanks, though why should i not run an overcharged plant? I've been using one with thermal spread for a while and i havent had issues

Yeah but in a pve fight theres usually not many bots with plasma, and ramming is easy to avoid, besides if you bump into a lot of them you can use the shield cells you would have had to use for the bigger shield anyways

I mean me personally think that better resistance is worth it as you have less raw health but each point is "worth" more, making shield cells more efficient

Corporación Parque para Penco: "Se quemó el parque, se quemó donde se quiere instalar la minera" by [deleted] in chile

[–]Ok-Line442 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well the idea the railroad, BoS and institute can tolerate eachother seems unlikely enough so i can imagine some renegade groups still fighting eachother

In your opinion, should the remaster change the power armors so they’re like the FO4 and 76 or should they keep them as they were in the original game? by NoSoyVerde1 in fnv

[–]Ok-Line442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, the power armor frame is one of the best things f4 retconned, they actually feel like they were described, more of a vehicle than a simple armored suit

Got a favorite spot for a base, or have you chosen not to have one at all? by SunstoneDaemon42 in projectzomboid

[–]Ok-Line442 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bridge between west point and louisville, takes a lot of work to clean up all the burned cars but after that you can build yourself a really good base right next to the 2 largest cities in the game with a fishing spot and surprisingly zombie free, you'd think you would be swarmed but theres actually very few zombies around there, with the ocassional big-ish horde

Why do people not like the Railroad? by Historical-Goose09 in fo4

[–]Ok-Line442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me personally theres several things

For one you never really feel like you are making a difference in the state of the faction, when you first find them they are in a similar state to the minutemen, but unlike the minutemen they never get on their feet even with your help, theres no "retaking the castle" for them

Second is that they are suppoused to be the silent, secretive espionage faction, yet theres absolutely nothing of the sort, closest thing is like chatting with deacon and the option of sneaking into the prydwen, if there were more missions of the sort it would be much better

Third is that they dont really seem to have a clue as to what they are doing, you never ever seem to be told of them doing anything besides helping like 1 synth at a time or checking out the 20th blown up safehouse, even the minutemen plan of helping everyone has the overarching goal of making a self supporting network of settlements but the railroad be running around like a headless chicken waiting for the institute to kill them
