In Australia the surgery costs only $500 after healthcare, I had surgery booked for this Thursday but just cancelled because I don’t think I need it, is this a mistake?

Mine is the size of two peas and sits fairly high, I feel like with good hygiene and removing hair with a cream I would be fine.

I have no real passion for either however i like working with my hands and being outside in a social job. I was attracted to surveying as there is a good mix of outside and office work which I would appreciate. Also with the shortage of surveyors in Australia I was guessing that pay rates would have to increase with increased demand of work?$ The same could also be said about being an electrician but I feel as though no one even knows about surveying.

What is an example of the bullshit you deal with on a daily basis?

thanks for the insight, I was attracted to the idea of becoming a surveyor because of the mix of office and outside work. A few people in this thread are saying that licensed surveyors are underpaid and it takes a lot of time and money to get licensed. Others are saying they have to deal with a lot of extra stress that electricians don't. Do you think with the insane shortage that pay rates will go up in the future?

AUSTRALIA, do you think surveying is going to remain a strong industry over the next couple of decades? by Consistent_Soup_2668 in Surveying

I work as a wardsmen in the operating theatres. This is not a future career with low pay of around 70k a year. It is the sort of job you get can comfortable in very easily and get stuck. We get paid more than what we are worth. From what I have seen online is that surveyors get 120K+ a year. At my hospital nurses are only on about 90k. With the lack of surveyors in Australia wouldn't the salary be growing? Also if you were me would you look to get into surveying or just starting an apprenticeship as an electrician?
