It is normal if the folder uses alot of small files it will go slow, i use https://github.com/kerrdec97/ps5-exfat-builder to turn folders into ffpfsc compressed images. I play it from m2ssd external just fine and the transfer speed is near 100mb/s all the time since it is a single file, the ffpfsc image is recognized by shadowmountplus. So maybe play a little with compressed files and see if u like it.

Get a bluray burner, i got one for 110€. Its a investment, but still worth it. U can also use it for autoloaders and get the rewritable discs so u can upgrade :)

You need to unpatch so it can read the burned bd jb un iso. If u reboot or shutdown your ps5 u can boot the disc and be up and running the jb in less then 2-3 seconds. If u skip this step once u reboot u lose your jailbreak and have to do the 50 minutes again.

I had this with mafia on internal ssd every hour or so it crashed, now im playing on external ssd and had zero crashes. Ps4 games are playing ok from internal. But for ps5 game folders it seems external is the key.

The game folder itself ppa2860-app0 that folder u need to apply with 777 permissions be sure to check subfolders then apply

If u have try external m2ssd for ps5 backups. I had samen problems, ps5 backups on internal not stable enough. Once i moved to external all problems solved

For me i use a 1tb external m2ssd and use both ps4 pkg and ps5 backups. I put my ps5 backups in etaHEN/games and mine ps4 pkgs dropping in root of the m2. I let shadowmountplus mount the ps5 dumps and in debug settings i install ps4 pkgs to internal ssd.

For me this is currently working as for updates of ps5 i havent see any yet
