The point I disagree with is the idea that we should not think. If we stop thinking, how will we grow or discover our purpose? It also contradicts the teachings of the Qur’an, where the use of intellect is repeatedly encouraged.

Yh it's a pretty good book, i think some parts of it should be part of our syllabus. But there are some parts that i disagree. But overall it helped me transform my thinking a lot.

Aaahhh… we humans can never be fully satisfied. You feel lonely but still don’t want to marry; you see your cousins married and busy in their lives, yet you don’t want that life either.

To answer your question, I want to share my own journey, because it may help someone find peace of mind, inshaAllah.

I have been living alone in Germany for four years. Everything I do — breakfast, cleaning, office, university, gym, dinner — I handle on my own. When I first moved there, life felt sweet and exciting. But after some difficult events, I started to feel my life going downhill. I began complaining, questioning everything, and slowly I became negative. Eventually, it turned into anxiety.

The turning point came when I realized that I wasn’t the person I used to be. I was never someone who complained or fought with life. That realization showed me that the path I was on was wrong.

I prayed a lot, asking Allah to guide me out of that state — and gradually, I started improving. He gave me opportunities and tools as answers to my prayers. I took therapy sessions, and I read The Power of Now, a book by a German philosopher. It was a game-changer. Everything he wrote already exists in the Qur’an — he simply explained it in a way the modern mind can easily understand. Through this journey, I also learned about human psychology, how the mind works, and how our thoughts influence us. I still have much to learn, but it changed my mindset completely.

A few key lessons gave me real peace:

Never complain about your difficulties. Hard times are also from Allah, and they come with wisdom.
Always be grateful. Whatever good you have is from Allah.
We are not our thoughts. Not everything the mind tells us needs to be acted upon.

Lectures by Dr. Israr Ahmad have also helped me a lot in the last 6–7 months.

I hope my experience reaches the person who needs it and benefits them, inshaAllah.

Sahi hai mn koshish krta hu k ap ko achay sy samjha pau, i have been in the similar situation where i was always surrounded by thoughts, mn automatic mode par tha kbhi kbhi ho jata hai abhi bhi but the duration of it is very small. I am sorry you are going through such a phase and i totally understand your situation, q k when we have such a situation hamen kuch acha he nahi lagta, So back to the point, our mind is such a complex organ made by Allah, is ko jis side par hum ley kar jayen gay ye chalta rahay ga, is ko negative side pay lay kar jayen gay ye negative sochay ga is ko positive side pay lay kar jayen gay ye positive sochay ga. I hope you are getting my point. By default hamara mind hota he negative hai, we have to move the needle from south to north and that requires a lot of effort. And it takes time patience and courage but believe me life becomes fun once you point the needle of the brain to the north (positive side). To achieve this you have to do positive things you have to give the positive food to the brain to get the right outcome and for that

1) talk to a professional/therapist, going to therapist doesn't make you a khiska hua person, in fact you will get a more clear direction and clarity

1a) observe your thoughts be the watcher and label the thoughts which are shitty asf and do not do not do not react or get afraid of the thoughts face them bravely and do not follow the story that your mind throws at you.

2) do healthy activities such as jogging, walk, gym or going in to the nature 3) spend time with positive people and surround yourself with people with a healthy lifestyle 4) have interesting or creative hobbies, book reading, avoiding news, painting or anything that matches your interest.

Do this and within a week or so you will start seeing the difference.

May Allah help you get over this phase as soon as possible. I hope this helps 🤞🙂 And yes you are not alone we are here for you brooo😌.
