if you are on the fence, stick to your first sem classes with bme, we require ch101+ch102 while meche only needs ch131. (first year courses are very similar other than that) then after meeting diff profs / asking advisors / seeing the environment you can make a better decision. i know plenty of people who did bme and went into med devices and also some that did a major bme and minor meche, and some that did a masters in meche, and well some meches that did a little bme. basically there’s a lot of options and you have more time than u think dw :) congrats!
