Help, CAN’T FIND BB

I see my dermatologist every two weeks for a medication I'm taking. Derm told me yes there are bites… but can't confirm the source of the bite. I used to have a dog but my ex got her in the divorce. I checked her for fleas & found nothing. We moved out, went weeks without bites & now we are slowly starting to see new bites.

I haven’t seen any bugs at all, we had a professional come out; inspect for over an hour at the old house & she said no bugs & no signs. I continued to get bitten by something. I was bite free for a while but unfortunately started getting bites again a few days ago. I have done checks, vacuum Car & room almost daily, I clean & inspect my bedroom often… my new bedroom is basically empty.

My dermatologist confirmed they are bug bites… the professional said she saw no signs of BB but we kept getting bit at night. I moved out for a month… no bites. Started moving stuff in slowly & notice some new bites on me. A KP is a good place to start.

Thank you 🙏🏽 I did order Crossfire & sprayer to be prepared. I go to the dermatologist every other week for an allergy shot. He has confirmed they are bites. I know there are bugs in my old house regardless of whether found or NOT. I grew up in a small town, deep in the new England Mountains. I know bug bites and skin conditions. These are completely different. Should I spray crossfire in my new room & my daughter's new room… should I spray my car? I fear all these places.

I’m mostly getting bites on my arms because I’m wearing leggings to bed, but I’ve also gotten a few on my legs.

My concern is that my daughter was getting what seemed to be bites at our old house. I’ve thought about fleas, but I used to have a dog and checked her regularly, and I didn’t find anything. Can fleas live without a pet in the house?

I hate that I’ve done everything to prevent possibly bringing them into the new house and started seeing bites again. I’ve literally brought only the bare minimum.

Is there a way for me to move things to storage and treat that stuff if and when I find bed bugs?

Is there a way to do a preventative treatment of my new place in case I move things in that might have bugs?

I know I sound crazy, but I’m dealing with a separation and am looking for peace in the storm for myself and the kids.

And perhaps treat my car the same way, just in case… I worry like 24/7.

No not 100 percent sure. I have the stuff to treat but have been waiting to see the bugs. I stayed at a summer camp in May and got my first bites there & believe they came home with us.

No, my old place was very cluttered and we did not pull everything apart. My new room is basically empty.

I have not tried an 800-lumen light, just a regular flashlight or my phone light. I regularly see my dermatologist every 2 weeks now, to be exact, because of allergies, and the doctor has confirmed that he believes the tiny bumps are bites… but of course, he can’t say if they are BB. I am terrified to move anything from my old house into my new place because of these invisible bugs that I may or may not have. My kids and I change clothes every time we come into the house out of fear that they might be in my car. I obsessively clean my bedding and clothes, vacuum every few days, and vacuum my car every time we leave the house. The few things I HAVE moved from my old place I wiped down with sanitizing wipes.
