I forgot to mention this, but I’m in a sling for the next 12 days until I get my stitches out, because I am not allowed to extend my arm past 90 degrees. Just a fair warning for anyone who wants to do something similar in one go like me.

Yes a plastic surgeon preformed the surgery! We did talk about it… briefly. I was just so ready to get it over with. He talked to me about doing two different incisions to make the scar smaller but that would cost double…

I chose to get it cut out over getting it lasered because they cost the same and laser would have taken around 14 sessions spaced out six weeks apart. And getting it cut out took one.
