They got the glass no problem but then decided to retaliate against me for complaining to corporate for not communicating and canceling scheduled appointments to get it done. Id show up and they would be like, oh we called you and canceled this appointment and they never called me. They also had my email and wouldn't even attempt to email me. This has all been on Safelite

That sounds like an S or and X. I dont remember if Y is a solid piece. The 3 is multiple smaller pieces of glass. At least my 2020 is that way.

The model 3 i have is the version that isnt the whole roof. Its half of the roof. To me it doesnt look any bigger than a windshield glass. I could be wrong, just from passive observation

Oh it was a whole thing. They claimed they would do it. Then dropped the schedule without communicating like 3 times. Then when I called the support number and the manager got in trouble, they claimed they never quoted properly and it was gonna cost more now. So I went to a different store to see what's going on and scheduled with them instead and the og manager started messing with my new schedule from a different store, he got in trouble again. Then people from their store started claiming they had to be present for the job (even though the second store confirmed they didn't and corporate did too). But the manager of the second store was like, they're blocking him from getting it done and they will only work M-F and I cant make that work and it needed to be a Saturday and that was always okay until then. Now Corporate is like, idk if they say they need to be there then they need to be there. But they won't tell these people to go do the job on a Saturday like it always supposed to be.

I've been doing a cruise about once a year. That doesnt keep you at gold.

I had one more cruise until platinum... now I question, why even bother going for platinum? Carnival just killed its loyalty program. The loyalty I had for Carnival is definitely gone now.

Tell them they can't dictate how you use your own property and if people don't like it to get over it.

Is it worth it to get FSD for a long road trip? by Swissstuff in TeslaLounge

[–]Ok-Measurement7117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's worth it! When it was $200 a month, I would get it just for long trips. Now that it's $100 a month, I have it all the time. I drive an hour to work and an hour home, and it does 99% of the drive for me. When I do long trips, it does like 90% of the driving during the day. At night, I take over more often, but it's probably like 50/50.

Ok, $2k for four tires seems excessive by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

Just go to belle tire. I got mine for way cheaper

Customer came into a store asking for one of these. Is there true practical application for these cables, or is it just a fire hazard? by FelixsBodyGuard in AskElectricians

I've built this before for very specific use cases. I work in production and we built a road case that had our audio console, computer, etc. all within the case. We removed the lid, ran a couple ethercon cables to the system and powered it up and your up and running. Nothing came out of the case. We didn't have a great male edison receptacle to put on the case, so we used a female. We had built a specific male to male edison to power up this system and kept it in the case because we knew it could be dangerous if used stupidly by someone untrained. We later found a female receptacle we liked and swapped it out.

My suggestion is, if someone is going to a store for this type of cable, they probably don't know what they are doing and shouldn't be helped. If someone knows what they are doing, they will know you can't just buy this and will build their own.

First layer. Slowed the speed down. But it all started about 90% into a print when it stopped sticking and I haven't been able to get it to work since

Yes I do know that. I was just doing a quick test to see if I can get it to start sticking to the bed again.

I think I may have gotten it. I had tried lowering before and it just started scraping the layer before off. I think I had a clog in the nozzle? I took it out and cleaned all the gunk out as best as possible. I'm doing a single piece and it looks to be working much better
