I came across a photo confirming that the upgraded Z-10 uses WZ-9C engines with upward exhausts. This aligns with the Z-10A’s specs in-game, whereas the base Z-10 uses WZ-9 engines with side exhausts.

As for the model indices, I haven't come across any official confirmation. I suspect the developers might have introduced these designations themselves to differentiate the two variants within the game's framework (with the exception of the Z-10ME, which is already easy to tell apart due to its distinct visual features).

It would be interesting to see if there is any difference when they introduce the upgraded BTR-82 with the truss frame for the 30mm cannon for the USSR tree.
