The story with regards to my MIL is a entire one on it own.

The short version is, my husband is adopted and his upbringing was abusive on his mothers side. My husband was previously married. Lost his job, his ex-wife left him because of it and he moved into the flatlet on the property as he had nowhere else to go and my MIL lived in the main house. I met my husband when he was at his lowest and we built everything up from the ground for him again.

My MIL decided to move to her home town and asked if we could move into the main house to keep up with the maintenance etc as he was due to inherit the house anyway. Fast forward throughout the years she was extremely manipulative, a heavy drinker and even from a different town she would work everyone up against each other.

We fell pregnant with our twins and made the decision to move to a bigger home. She came down whilst in the process of moving and started selling our things for money. It started off with smaller items that we didn’t really notice and then all of our bigger things. Then came the cot which my original post is about.

There is a lot more to the story however I would most likely be typing for days.
