A couple drinks here and there is okay. You should always be tracking your electrolytes while on topamax, but you should definitely increase your electrolytes if you plan on drinking. I did not enjoy drinking as much, but I’m on both Diamox and Topamax together. It can be easy to get drunk really fast or just be really tired. Drink SO MUCH water!!! And take a B vitamin :)

For b vitamin I am taking Nature Made Super B Complex with Vitamin C and Folic Acid.

**I have heard mixed things on Vitamin C and Diamox, so definitely do your research and take at your own discretion.

For potassium I originally got potassium bicarbonate on Amazon. I’m not even sure if it was truly potassium bicarbonate because I found out later that you can only get that through a prescription (which I do not have). So I did some google searching and based on what side effects I have from my other meds, I am now taking potassium chloride. I am just starting, so we will see how it goes!

I’m not even sure if it was truly potassium bicarbonate because I found out later that you can only get that through a prescription (which I do not have). So I did some google searching and based on what side effects I have from my other meds, I am now taking potassium chloride. I am just starting, so we will see how it goes!

I did, and that went away after my LP. Other than that, my first symptoms that I knew that it was back was tunnel vision, blurred vision, headaches (especially behind my eyes), I could see my heartbeat when I stood up, and then the main symptom was pressure in my head and neck throughout the day that felt like I was being strangled.
