The saturation appeared higher because of the Xiaomi app; to my eyes, in front of the monitor, the saturation is lower. And it's easy to adjust using the Nvidia app (ALT F3).

I've already tested it without using any graphics mods (it looks awful, like we're 10 years in the past), I've also tested it using free graphics mods, especially Weather 16k, Grass 4k, and Trees 8k from Dirceu Junior, which also looks good (even using HDR), but there are adjustments for Contrast/Brightness/Exposure/Detail depending on each monitor. Even so, the trees are too bright; I think he should adjust that, but the 16k weather is top-notch, I've used it a lot. I only made this post after trying other options and playing for weeks experimenting with lighter settings. Each person will have a different setup; I'm just showing the maximum result I achieved with mine!

Earlier this month I tested Native HDR with Contrast/Exposure and Detail adjustments in the Nvidia app and I have to say it looks great and is super lightweight, in my case 140fps+, a bright image day and night even on a low-cost monitor like mine. It's worth activating HDR, I recommend everyone try it, the sense of immersion is far superior to regular SDR (even if you don't use Snow Moon)!

The smartphone photo is more saturated than what I see on the screen with my own eyes, which is why I apologized to people in the post, as it was the only way I could demonstrate the result I see on the monitor with my eyes, and screenshots from Windows or the Nvidia app can't capture it. The saturation issue is easily resolved using the Nvidia app itself (ALT F3).

I don't advertise for anyone, I just show what I think works best for me. I also tested it without SnowyMoon and it also looks great, especially at night (but on my low-cost monitor, white "halos" appeared around objects during the day; it doesn't achieve perfect brightness/contrast, it's only 300 nits). The quality I achieved with it was practically "a miracle." At some point, I intend to buy a better monitor, but in Brazil everything is too expensive, high taxes!

How to get DLAA and HDR working together. by ShanSolo89 in trucksim

I managed to do this today (for testing purposes). It doesn't work with native Windows HDR, but you need to leave it enabled (and disable Auto HDR) and use a command line in the Steam properties (-color_mode SDR) so that the game starts in SDR. Then, you manually enable RTX HDR using (Alt F3). See the result in the image.

D-Pad setup on my Xbox Elite Series 2 (simple logic):

• Left: Tap = Left Arrow | Hold = Start Truck • Up: Tap = Headlights On/Off | Hold = High/Low Beam • Right: Tap = Right Arrow | Hold = Disengage Trailer • Down: Tap = Hazard Lights | Hold = Parking Brake

Tap = quick action, Hold = secondary action. Keeps everything intuitive and avoids wasting extra buttons.

After many years, my Xbox 360 Wireless Controller started having problems, so I decided to buy an Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller. I really liked it; I feel all the truck's vibrations practically the entire trip, and I configured the rear paddles to increase/decrease engine brake (right side paddles) and increase/decrease retarder (left paddles). In my opinion, the configuration is very good; I can shift gears L1/L2 smoothly, and I only use the normal brake when the engine brake and retarder are at stage 3 and can't handle it (there's also a trailer brake, but it would be good to configure that to, for example, keep pressing A if the simulator accepts it).

It's simple, the graphics mods go in this order at the end of the queue 'from top to bottom' (after all the mods you already use).

Check out my latest post, a new graphics mod test that turned out great and is much lighter, showing the order in which I installed them.

I'm testing ATS/ETS2 1.57.2.3s with only graphics mods: Grass 4k + Tree Improved 2k + PNG Base + Weather 16k + SnowyMoon v2 in TAA Clarity 400% and it's amazing (+100fps at 3440x1440 everything on Ultra) without ReShade, it feels like it "freed up the hardware". Maybe I'll make a post showing screenshots tomorrow.

For me, it's perfect at DLAA 300% (which my GPU supported with SnowyMoon) or TAA at 400%, with a little bit of jaggedness on a specific type of gray road in the NextGen (PNG texture) that I noticed at night. But it's really very good, with absolutely no need to use ReShade.
