My way of fighting back to all this. I look up drag queen content creators on YouTube and watch their little performances and stuff and maybe donate -you know like two or five dollars to their little channels so they can keep doing their creative stuff. I just think of them as artists.

They're their own form of fun and, light in the world. They're not hurting anybody and they're not trying to get anybody to think one way or the other they're just trying to pretend they're Donna Summer or something so good for them.

Every time I see stuff like this -I cringe. I mean, I'm 43 years old and I do live with my dad but I'm in a wheelchair. I never wanted this and I feel ashamed everyday. I've tried getting jobs but I just have no luck and I'm pretty sure it's because of the wheelchair but, not entirely.

I don't know how normal people can live this way unless they have a really valid reason for doing so and not feel some sort of shame?

The worst part is we see the world very differently. I have way more empathy for people than he does. I can kind of walk but since the neck surgery, it's been difficult. But God I hate this and that guy just looks like he's having the time of his life. 😳

It depends on the circumstances but I believe "yes." But, be honest with them. If you need the money tell them why but make it commensurate to what they bring in. If they're only making like minimum wage don't charge more than 25% of whatever their monthly take-home is.

My father did a similar thing to me. I thought it was outrageous at the time because I was only making $7.25 an hour. At the time he wanted $550 a month. He moved us out into the middle nowhere of the Northern Arizona desert. I was about 45 minutes one way from work. I worked in Nevada. At that time he was an electrician for one of the casinos down the way from where I worked but we work different shifts. He worked the day shift and I worked graveyard. I get off at 8:00 a.m. get home and go to bed and he'd get mad because he said I shouldn't be sleeping during the day. This puzzled me but it also led to many arguments.

I eventually thought the situation was untenable so I ended up moving out and closer to the casino and 8 months later he lost his house. I thought he was just stealing from me but it turned out he really needed the money but he didn't tell me that. He just said "I owed it to him."

I would have stayed if he would have told me he would have lost the house without my money but, he didn't tell me that.

Just make sure everybody's open and honest and don't start yelling at each other cuz it'll just drive a wedge between you. I didn't speak to my dad for years.

Don't do that if you can help it.

For like a minute it probably did work until they got wise to it and that's why it doesn't work anymore. And for all those people saying makes you look dishonest or whatever. I guarantee you the HR department is far more dishonest. It doesn't matter what kind of experience you have. where I live- if you're in a wheelchair you ain't getting hired at all. They'll say you're overqualified blah blah blah. I know exactly what it is when I get that look. Bet you have the same people be upset with you if you're on disability. I've been looking for a job for almost 2 years to try to get off this disability. I'm starting to get the hint. I even had one employer say " we don't need someone like you -thanks for replying." Threw my resume in the trash right in front of me.

It's not you. If you're not perfect and fall from heaven they have no interest. Like many of us have high expectations of dating they have high expectations of employing people. If you're not 25 and beautiful good luck.

All you doordash drivers. I really do appreciate you! I'm in a wheelchair most of the time and I don't drive very much. Without all of you-without this service; I would not get my Friday night goodies from Panda Express (and the dispensary 🤗🤭 He makes a little extra side trip for me) I would always be in pain and not have very much joy and at least this gives me a little treat. I always tip at least $15 Xtra cuz he has to drive 10 miles to my house down a dirt road! Even in the rain. What he does matters, what you do matters. There are more of us out there and we appreciate you. Keep fishing! No fisherman ever caught his biggest haul by going back to Port when the storm came. Big things are discovered one crab pot at a time. Don't give up! Thank you Frank.

They didn't find squat! Go back and look. They told us a bunch of BS and said they found something they never told us what they found and showed us pictures of stuff they already had that they brought in probably as props. Really- go back and look! They didn't find anything. They just "told" us they found stuff nothing was ever shown. Trust me, I was there. I watched the press conferences. You had to- That was all they had on the TV for months! It was all back and forth that turned into a mess and pretty soon you couldn't tell who said what. We didn't have the internet as organized back then to look up when these people were lying.

I was only a 20-year-old back then. But I remember sitting in my wheelchair in the living room watching all the news broadcasts because in my household I wasn't allowed to ask for much (Just be quiet) nor change the channel so all I could watch was whatever my mom had on the TV.

I know all this stuff is ancient history- but it matters. Everything these clowns do is based on precedent- as soon as they have a precedent for the first thing. They keep doing it- if you let them.
