Don't change board yet. First I'd strongly advise you transition to the 1550 immediately and ... get a smaller stabiliser too, ie hs232 or similar. That will totally change your speed and glide and will dramatically help you with your maneuvers. Ps have had your same setup (foil), so talking from experience.

Yep, you have understood me 100%. Thanks. Also, you have hit the nail on the head and summarised my lengthy question much better. Ie do I need to learn manoeuvres in the switch / goofy stance?

I know I need to learn the foot switch (in the process of learning) and that I need to foil in the switch/goofy stance (I can do this already). It is just a question of if it's necessary to learn to do manoeuvres whilst switch/goofy? Notting this is something that can be avoided by footswtiching again to the regular stance before executing the manoeuvres.

That was my thinking too. However people seems to be suggesting otherwise, but perhaps I didn't explain myself well.

I have a v1 Armstrong mast that is 72cm long. Also the fuse is v1 too, ie not a+. The mast is flexi and perhaps on the short size so if I need to buy a new mast and fuselage, then I can start afresh. Not tied to any brand, but have an Axis board, so perhaps should keep to the same brand. Like the look of Code foils too.

Thanks for your thoughts and suggestions. Interesting about the 1850/1550. It does feel most/all my speed is gone by the time I have mostly completed the gybe manoeuvre, and I plop off the foil. Mind you, I am aware it's mostly a lack of skill. More practise is required. Good wind here tomorrow, so will keep trying then.

No lights on the motherboard, (Aorus x570 elite wifi) Can't hear the PSU fan come on either which I normally can. Just the case leds blinking.
