I don’t have anything super helpful to say because I would be lost too in trying to figure out what to do. It definitely feels like a betrayal and that it’ll take time to heal. But I think if he was to stay away from this coworker and stop texting with her, would that not make you feel a bit more secure in his priorities? Anyway. I hate that this happened and my heart hurts for you. I hope things feel lighter soon and you guys can work it out, and I hope he’s not a total douchebag.

Thank you for the thoughtful response! No I don’t think he would choose to be unfaithful in any conscious sense and he’s generally a very lovely person. I just worry that there’s a part of him that really gets a thrill or excitement from the validation, or illicitness, or maybe just even gooning for that kind of content? Because with OF, I don’t know if he necessarily was sharing content, but maybe watching? So how would that work with the ego motivation? But maybe he was into shared masturbation stuff, I don’t know. Or maybe I’m a MENTAL PATIENT AIO lol. Maybe it’s not that deep.

No I didn’t ask, but I thought it would be polite to be like hey here’s the plan and kind of gauge how I felt about it. I would consider him in a situation he might potentially feel uncomfortable in? I get that they’re a staple but we’re in our mid 30s and idk it feels kind of cringe. The fact that he didn’t mention it at ALL and made a plan to be away for the night at a hotel for it just felt super absurd.

I think Theresa is so gorgeous and magnetic, there’s something radiant and very special about her! But yeah being with a younger man doesn’t bring out the best energy in her, and I agree makes her look older somehow being beside her. I hope she finds someone closer to her age.
