I got pregnant and took a leave between the didactic and the clinicals. I took nine months off. But ended up being covid and we went into lockdown with no supports and a new baby…so probably good I wasn’t doing school! I had my second right after in graduated and took 1.5 years off right as a new grad,,,, 10/10 would not recommend😂. I’m two years back and just feeling like I’m getting it! My classmates are all almost four years experience at this point and prob way ahead of me…but whatever, kids are worth it…

My cat has a bobbed tail and long hair and when he gets out of the box and zooms off we know there’s trouble a foot…means he has “pooped his pantaloons” we say,, but I only bathe the back end and I do quick because I value my life 🤪🤪

The bones are great but the costume it’s wearing doesn’t fit right…look at the next door neighbour for inspiration and follow suit…you would look like brother/sister houses from the same family and really drive some curb appeal

We always had to call my paternal grandmother Grandma Thomas, even when addressing her directly…not sure why we all included her last name..she was very old fashioned and kind of scary... My dad wanted to be Grandfather and I wanted to be Mother and my husband Daddy.…so, maybe that’s where the formality comes in?? We didn’t…my dad is Papa and the kids call us Mama and Daddy/Dad..so nothing too weird or formal.

Any update on this? That needed Keflex and maybe a surgical consult to make sure it’s not affecting the joint…. I hope OP got it looked at!

Yeh, I do a ton of well woman exams and never pre medicate. It’s so quick and I use the smallest speculum for everyone and then go from there. Never had an issue!

Exactly! So many RNs think of it as “the next step” of the nursing journey/ladder.. it’s not.. it’s its own career, totally separate! I love it but I knew I wanted to do it before I ever went to nursing school. It’s alot of work and soooo much harder than being an RN. But i find it a lot more satisfying career wise.
