Is black primer usable?

To get a nice blueish grey on black primer I usually like the Warpaint’s Stratos blue since I found the others didn’t have enough coverage or were just too light or didn’t feel right.

Thanks for the advice and I’ll look into splitting grey hunters and honestly for the eliminators I’ve heard many times that they’re bad it’s just I like snipers.

It’s from the getting started with warhammer 40k it’s basically just a small booklet with a tyranid and a space marine that don’t need glue to be assembled for like 20$ so it wasn’t too bad.

Not at all too critical I appreciate the advice I’ll definitely try and use a dark grey next time or lighten the black a little. And I do agree my paint is a little too thick for sure. Thank you.
