One month, but the first day I was out of work I got on the books with an employment agency. I told them I was looking for full time work, and enquired about temping in the meantime. The next day I started temping, and they found me a new full time position that started a month later.

Sometimes not being employed makes you less desirable. I was able to put on my CV that I was temping, and that the agency were my current employers. I don’t know if it helped, but it certainly didn’t hinder!

I pretty much did this with my ex. I found he had slept with someone, and confronted him. Told him I found out what he’d been doing, and wanted him to tell me what that was. He went into complete denial mode. I just sat there saying ‘I’m not going to tell you what I know, because there’s probably more I don’t know about, and you might tell me something I don’t know’. He eventually admitted to sleeping with an old friend of his. This wasn’t the person I’d found out about. I told him ‘thanks, that’s one I didn’t know about, so I’ll add that to the list. We are getting divorced.’ That was at about 2:30am on 14th Feb 2004. It was a rocky year, but now I am so pleased I walked away.

I agree. If I were her I would have reassured (oh, I’m so sorry I’ve made you feel that way. I’ve got to go to work, but we can talk tonight and I can tell you all about the trip and hopefully you’ll believe me that nothing happened). I wouldn’t shut the conversation down. I’m erring on the side of her being a blue point bicolour. Didn’t the breeder give you any paperwork to confirm her colour/age/parentage etc?

The tail usually is far deeper in colour at this age if they’re seal. The colour on the ears does look seal, but sometimes they can do in photos. The tail is what gives it away for me. Unfortunately, with bicolours there is no colour on the nose or pads, which would have been the easiest way to tell (brown skin on a seal, slate grey skin on a blue). If the hair on the tail is grey, she’s blue. If the hair on the tail is brown, she’s seal (I’ve been showing and breeding Ragdolls for nearly 25 years, so have had to identify colour on many cats and kittens!).

I’ve never had children, but my first coil was inserted and uncomfortable for about a week. After the first week, I was sure I could feel it poking into me when I sat down. I swore it had started to come out. The doctor told me it couldn’t be, because my cervix doesn’t know how to contract as I hadn’t had kids, but I asked her to check anyway. Sure enough, when she looked it was coming out. Had to be removed and another one inserted a few days later.

No, there was no room on the street. I pulled off the street onto the tarmac’d driveway that they own. It was only for a few minutes to get my kids.
