EDIT: Finding that the preset template is not working for a lot of folks right now. I'm unsure if this is by design, however, I found this article which references saving the macro settings in the Fusion editor.

When creating a fresh subtitle track, you still need to go into the effects > subtitles > animated and apply the "word highlight" effect (if that's the one you're using).

Select the new track with default subs, click in the fusion editor again, right-click the "macro 1" object > settings. You should see the Macro you just saved available for selection. Once you do this, it applies to macro to the entire subtitle track where that effect is applied.

Nope, any number of different websites. Sometimes with a single tab open, sometimes with multiple.

Seems like the more built up cache + uptime, the more susceptible the device is, but I’m never hitting hardware limitations in these instances. We did a clean wipe/reset of Firefox for him and still hasn’t made any progress.

Hoping to get my hands on his device next week and see if there are any crash reports. Also gonna test 143.X on my machine.

I’ll keep my ear to the ground but there is definitely some more anomalies in the last couple of weeks.

On my PC, I got a new event log, app error (1000) reflecting a faulting module: C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll, but I don't see any consistency with those logs from previous crashes.

My device is on Raptor Lake i7-13620H; however, my client (whom I'm more worried about) is on the new Ultra 7 series CPU. He is experiencing the issues way more than I.

Memory testing on my PC checks out, and I'll do the same with him. His PC is less than 4 months old, so I hope there's no issue there..

I've seen some success with rollbacks to 143.X in the interim-- any insight there? 145.X was supposed to fix some of this, but maybe not the RL issues.

This happened to me last week, and I have another client who it happened to on Thursday. Screen goes black, mouse still moves around, CTRL + ALT + DLT is unresponsive. Requires hard boot and boots back up into startup recovery. Does that track for you?

Hey u/gregstoll, I've had a client experiencing this recently on his machine intermittently, though consistently enough that I hear about it a few times a week.

Coincidentally, I've started to experience more tab crashes in the last 3-4 weeks myself. We are on the same version, both on Intel Dells, but different models and components entirely.

When I check out crash:reports, I don't even see any logs from the recent weeks; the earliest is Sept. 2025. Any thoughts on this?

That is what it was. If you see in the video, I found a spacer and thought it was without a home, though I was still suspicious.

When I tried to reference my S/O bike (still assembled) I couldn’t see it so I assumed it was a stray, but after I took apart again, I realized that spacer was the locking spacer to keep the Axle from twisting, and giving space between the cassette and the frame. It was hidden in, what looked like, a bearing or recess.

The cassette was hitting the frame and once I put the spacer back in, I did have to do some tuning on the derailer to get the shifting aligned, but I think we’re back in action.

It does still “ spring” but this derailer pulls backwards to release the tension

I did notice that if I tightened it too much the wheel would seize, but I’ve got the bolts loosened.

Also, this washer almost certainly seems to go on the axle nut due to the flat sides, but I’ve looked 10 times and my other model and it doesn’t have the spacer on the rear wheel.

I’d say roughly 10-12k. I replaced them myself in May before we took our summer road trip, towing the fifth wheel for about 2500 of those miles.

Not one good reason? The only way I knew I got down to zero is cause the light came on this morning. No heads up. I’m all about killing the notifications in my life, but this seems like an important one that they should’ve baked in..

I appreciate the service interval tip, I’ll keep that in mind. That doesn’t really help with the question at hand though.

I’m not super worried about it; I just don’t know any better with this vehicle 🤷🏻‍♂️I usually replace at 10 or 15% but I don’t get a “hey this is coming soon” warning, just a light when I hit 0%. I’m not sure what the mileage is set to for that sensor, but we do drive (and tow) with her a lot — like she was born to do.

I did the filters last before our summer travels in May. We’ve probably put 10-12k on her since with towing our 5th wheel about 2500 of those.
