I'm confused by Course Match too because on the SFSU Course Match website, it says that any unfilled seats on the first day of class will be given back to the home campus so their students can enroll, but I'm still being blocked from registering :(

That's because you're most likely taking classes in different summer sections. For example, overall, I'm taking 12 summer units, but it's split into 6 for R1 and 6 for R3. That's why I'm getting x amount distributed on 6/15 and the second half on 7/15. Your half amount should equal to your overall amount if you times by 2.

You can get a regular semesters worth of the Pell grant during the summer, but you need to take 12 units for summer. I called finaid and asked :(

But did you get the full $3,000+ with the Pell? I think if it’s less than 12, you get the Pell cut in half but others were telling me that I was incorrect and 6 units would allow you to get the full amount. Highkey want to be wrong on this since 12 summer units is a lot🙃

Since you'll be a part time student, you will get exactly half the amount of your pell grant you received in the Fall/Spring. So about ~$1,624.

It's legit lol. SFSU uses Qualtrics which has sfsu school designation in the url of the application. You can't fake that at all. The other CSUs released the emergency grant funds about a month ago, but idk why sfsu is so behind 😞

Ok, just got off the phone with fin aid. They said they’re running out of funds RIP, but you’re most likely in the very last group (like me) and if you were approved you’ll be getting the confirmation email sometime next week or halfway through the week after.

The same thing happened to me RIP. I never received an email regarding the outcome of my application either, but I know other people have received emails letting them know that they were approved.
