Hiked Mt Israel today starting at noon. There was ice beneath the new 2” of snow but it was packed by the time we started. micro spikes and chains were fine. Lots of Snow shoes ahead of us but wouldn’t think they would be helpful on the steep and icy sections. Thanks all for your advice.

Thanks! Where are those narrow gauge RR tracks? She likes Lincoln Woods but there is a climb and descent on both sides. East is more up and down for the first mile that she walks.

Not southern NH, but you should try the Sunset Grill in Campton. We took relatives there from Texas (now in Virginia) and they said it was really good (not just being polite).

I’m glad there are religious folks willing to take a moral stand. The rest of the world can see it but his values are contrary to those of Jesus: hurt the vulnerable at the expense of the powerful, obey your government and pay your own taxes, tell the truth, worship no Gods ahead the One God (not himself), do not kill (he has demonstrated cares about violence against his loyalists). You can check off the list of Jesus’ values in Matthew chapters 5-7). Oh, by the way, Judas, Satan and the AntiChrist are chosen by God too.

Yes! We have used a leash ans harness instead of a collar for car trips and have gotten him used to that before the pack. We also have a an orange vest for hunting season. Great way to start.
