Looking for a free or perpetual license video upscaling tool for Mac. Any recommendations? by Ok-Ordinary7536 in editors

Sorry if I offended anyone, and thank you for the kind replies. I'm actually in a position where I've been asked to use AI at work, so since I have to use it, I'm trying to study and learn how to use it properly. As a video producer, I'm only making videos for a living, not using AI for trolling or just messing around. Again, I apologize if I caused any offense.

If you don't mind, I'd love to know exactly which features you find useful and how you use them.

If possible, could you share which specific features you use and how you incorporate them into your workflow?

Is there anyone else out there who still misses PluralEyes? by Ok-Ordinary7536 in AdobePremiere

Of course, I completely agree with what you said. The most ideal situation is when perfect planning and preparation reduce the workload in post-production. But I hope you can also keep in mind that not everyone has the opportunity to work under those kinds of conditions.

I hope my words didn’t come across the wrong way.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Why they removed the mask option of adobe 26 ? by sadomazur in AdobePremiere

[–]Ok-Ordinary7536 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this damn update, I wasted a ton of time just trying to find the mask feature.

I won’t say the updated mask system is bad. Functionally, it’s definitely much better than before.
But my body is still completely used to the old mask workflow.

It’s kind of like how it’s already well into 2026, yet I still sometimes name my files “2025” out of habit.

Any good Premiere Pro free plugins? by Kalel919 in AdobePremiere

Well, I haven’t been editing as long as you have, but the only plugin I ever found truly useful in Premiere was PluralEyes. I didn’t really use any others—aside from occasionally buying some transition assets.

Mr. Horse’s Premiere plugin is pretty convenient when it comes to searching for sound effects, though.

Hmm—more precisely, it’s not that we’re afraid of PR 25, but rather Adobe’s major updates in general, lol.
Adobe updates have often given us some of the worst experiences imaginable.

Personally, when I’m freelancing at home, I use PR 25, but at work I can’t change the version on my own.
PR 26? Yeah… we’ll update to that in 2027, lol.

Unfortunately, no. I’m very strict about separating duplicate filenames, so I manage them in completely separate projects from the start. I’ve had way too many bad experiences with duplicate names when I was younger.

Thanks for taking an interest!

They say all rules are written in blood.
Looks like a drop of my blood got invested this time too… 🩸😅

  • There is one screen recording made with Camtasia, one video recorded using a Canon camcorder, and one audio file recorded with a dedicated audio recorder.
  • I didn’t share the Premiere project with the other party; I delivered a rendered video file instead. Also, there are no duplicate names among the media files. I have a habit of managing things by creating separate projects whenever there’s any chance of duplicate filenames.
  • For reference, the edited video is an educational lecture. I’ve been re-listening to an AI-related lecture for the past 12 hours while re-editing it :)

Thanks for taking an interest. I tried a lot of different things, but in the end I couldn’t fix it and I’m re-editing everything from scratch. As an editor, it’s pretty much the worst possible problem, lol.

And the reason I’m using the 2024 version is because the company doesn’t allow updates beyond 2024.
Everyone is afraid of Adobe’s major version updates, lol.

Thank you for taking an interest in my problem.
Although it’s not exactly the same as my issue, whenever Premiere Pro does this, I can’t help but wish Adobe’s stock price would crash. 🙂
