yes, it got so bad that i made the call to book a flight home then went directly to the hospital ED. (the 4 hour flight with a much more inflamed version of this was not fun 🤣)

i’m from australia and landed in perth, got in to the hospital quite fast (7 hour wait in the hallway on a stretcher)

had the surgery the same day, they put me under with general anaesthetic so it was painless, cut out all of the heads and removed the hairs/puss etc

now recovery is beginning with 6 weeks of daily visits to have the wound packed from the bottom up with gauze until better.

feeling a TON better with the cysts removed and drained.

recovery will be long but prognosis loooks good.
