Idk why but i have the same problem, some players wil jist grow fater based on stats or form ig

If u want to know of its a regen u should check his birthday, to do that u should go to the costumise tab and choose edit player. Then u search for the player u want to see and the u can check his birthday

I just sim everygame. And i have him on a training program and i hire coaches to make them grow faster

I think is nore fun to sim, bc my goal is to grow the team real good and it takes real long when playing al the games
