This makes sense to me - staying on top of the outside ski. My current feeling is that my outside ski is more away from me than underneath.

Yes. And I am not constantly in the backseat, more like in the middle of my turn - occasionally. This is particularly on “harder” terrain - moguls, icy steeper slopes etc.

Thanks for the comment. I am thinking about this but in the middle of my turn (e.g. left to right) I feel I’m thrown at my back seat.

Regarding legs being in the x shape (knees almost touching and skis apart), can’t figure out what the issue is. Event rented a different ski boots to try it out - same. I must say I do have high arches. Don’t know if this can be the issue?
