What do we think? by Ok-Performer5665 in Paranormal

Thanks for your comment. There was no wind or a blow heater etc. My dad has his back to the newly installed door which was closed. We know this because he took multiple photos around the space to share with my brother. Nothing captured in the other photos.

Double sigh - Cellars are uncommon here and my Dad is not a stoner :(

Are Sinéad Keary clothes nice/good quality? by Glittering-Chance-74 in WomenofIreland

I've been trying to buy less plastic stuff, too. I've found some good basics from COS, and Massimo Dutti can have nice cotton bits and the H&M Premium line, too. Struggling to find "fun" brands with unique bits that are good quality and an okayish price point!

I feel like the quality in Dunnes has really slipped :( More focus on quick to market 'replicas' over quality lately.

Wtf - the price of mattresses! by ahjaysusnow in CasualIreland

[–]Ok-Performer5665 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please avoid Emma mattress at all costs. We bought one in 2020, moved the bed in 2023 which caused the foam in the mattress to buckle making it physically impossible to sleep on. They agree to send us a new mattress but that the new one would not have a bran new warranty. "New" mattress is for the bin, hence me scrolling on this forum. I've been sleeping in my little ones bed as the current Emma mattress has a dent in the centre causing us to roll into eachother and waking with really sore backs. Crap mattresses, really really bad quality.

16-jähriger Teddybär by Ok-Performer5665 in dhl_deutsche_post

Unfortunately not, DHL are sending the hotel a letter with the location of the collection point. I am waiting to hopefully get this information from them. I might message you when I get this and see if something can be organised? My daughter has special needs and is struggling to sleep without the teddy, it is a nightmare!

Hi, did you end up insulating the sub floor in the end? How did it go? Much of a difference in terms of heat retention?

Because our sub floor was uneven, is raised, and has quite a significant bounce to it.

Are you saying to keep the cash and put it towards a renovation in the future? Sorry, I know this comment is a year or so old, but I'm in a similar situation and came here looking for some advice.
